O virtuoscope, que vem instrumentar os modelos digitais da realidade virtual deve, bem entendido, dispor de uma infra-estrutura informática importante, verdadeiro exxergão virtual do século XXI. A elaboração desse enxergão virtual deve assegurar em tempo real, de maneira fiável e quase natural, uma interoperabilidade dos sistemas para permitir a realização de experiências sensoriomotoras credíveis sobre sistemas multimodelos e multidisciplinas.
Assim, podemos dispor de novos instrumentos autorizando uma actividade colectiva em ambientes virtuais, com menor risco e menor custo. Os utilizadores do virtuoscope poderão então extrair-se dos seus próprios espaços espaciotemporais para interagir e participar no seio de um mesmo universo virtual com a ajuda de uma vida artificial simulando o real ou o imaginário do modelizador."
